Tiger Woods has a second aspect of his equipment locked-in for 2017 and that’s the golf ball he will use.
In fact, Bridgestone Golf announced today Woods has signed a multi-year agreement for exclusive use of its golf ball.
It comes as no surprise given Woods has been using the Bridgestone Tour B330-S ball in competition at the recent Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.
“Finding the right golf ball is extremely important,’ Woods, 40, said in a statement as his deal with Bridgestone Golf was formally announced.
“It’s an essential part of my equipment, and the Bridgestone B330-S ball is hands-down the best for my game.

‘”Controlling launch and trajectory is critical, and with this ball I feel I have total control to hit all shots accurately. I’m not just here to play — I’m here to win.”
Woods seemed happy back using his 13-Major Championship Scotty Cameron putter but there is still no word from Woods on whether he will stick with the TaylorMade M2 driver.
I had asked Tiger following his final round in the Bahamas the following: “Tiger, you were talking all week about the adjustable driver you’re now using for the first time. Are you committed to using TaylorMade and if so, do you go away now and try to sort it out or can you go back to a hosel that’s glued?”
Here was Woods response:
TIGER WOODS: Oh, I don’t know. Bernie, that’s a great question because I don’t know that one yet. I am still testing, I'm still trying to figure things out. I’m still in that process of I just settled in on a couple things this week. For instance, the 3-wood I found, I found it in the back of a shed here early in the week. It’s still new to me here, okay, so let’s just take a little time.
“As I said, I’m going to take two weeks off here, get my weight back up, get everything organized, then start the process of testing, training and getting a feel of what is best for me. I know that it was nice to it was nice to have my speed back, get some shots out there again and hit some balls out there with some aggression again and not have to worry about anything. That part felt good, too.”
