Tiger Woods Ending 465-Day Tour Drought With Mixed Bag Of Monster Energy, TaylorMade Driver, Nike Irons & Bridgestone Ball.

If reports are correct Tiger Woods will end a 465-day competition absence this coming Thursday with a golf bag supporting Monster Energy drinks, TaylorMade driver, Nike irons and using a Bridgestone golf ball.

Monster Energy is only just behind Red Bull in sales and Woods will debut his new sponsor prominently in his return this week at the Hero World Challenge on the exclusive Albany course near Nassua in the Bahamas.

It will be the seventh main sponsor to appear on the bag of the 14-time major champion’s pro career with Woods previously backing Titleist, Buick, AT&T, Nike, Fuse Science and MusclePharm as his bag logos.

Tiger Woods attracts plenty of interest at last year's Hero World Challenge.

The MusclePharm bag logo, Woods’ latest one to date, fell through in May as the performance lifestyle company was reportedly being sued by a nutrition company for $65 million for breach of contract and according to an SEC filing, MusclePharm paid Woods $2.5 million to terminate the deal.

And along with a new sponsorship deal on his bag, Woods is reportedly using a Bridgestone golf ball.

Woods was out practicing today on the range at the Albany Golf Club and this week’s host venue.

And in a report by Steve DiMeglio (USA Today) Woods commented:  “I’m ready to go.  I’m not dead.”
