Four-time Major winning Rory McIlroy will have his sights set on Major trophies for the 2016 golf season and BoyleSports have priced up the Co. Down golfer at 80/1 to win all 4 Majors next year.
McIlroy, who failed to win a Major in 2015, can be backed at 4/6 to fail again in 2016 whilst it’s 13/8 that he will manage to win a Major.
Two Majors for McIlroy in 2016 is priced at 7/1 with three on offer at 80/1.
Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “Despite failing to win a Major in 2015 we are seeing plenty of support for McIlroy to win one of the four Majors next year at 13/8.”
He added “If the Ulster man can manage a clean sweep in 2016 and win all four majors which was last achieved by American golfer, Bobby Jones, back in 1930, BoyleSports will be hit hard as we are seeing patriotic money on McIlroy to achieve this at the current odds of 80/1.”
