Tiger Woods Fails To Get It Past Sawgrass Ladies Tee On Route To Unwanted Tour First.

Struggling Tiger Woods failed to get his tee shot past the TPC Sawgrass Ladies tee during his third round of the Players Championship.

Woods hit a tree down the right side of the par five second hole and with his ball cannoning back towards the tee and officially travelling just 105-yards.

Indeed Woods ball was short of the Ladies tee from when Woods took the first of two double bogeys  on route to a round of a three over par 75.

And in yet another unwanted first for the 14-time Major winner it was the first occasion in some 306 PGA Tour events Woods posted two double bogeys in a round, and in fact, it was over his outward nine holes.

Woods opening nine holes reads:

Par, double-bogey, par, par, par, bogey, birdie, par and double-bogey.

However to his credit Woods played the inward nine in one under par with his only birdie in managing a superb up-and-down from a right greenside bunker from 30-feet to just a foot-and-a-half.

But then Woods was in no mood for conversation following his round and heading straight from the scorer’s hut to the Sawgrass clubhouse.

It left Woods lying near the tail of the field sharing 68th place on three over par.
