World No. 1 Rory McIlroy will drive off alongside the American duo of Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka for thee opening two rounds of the Honda Classic at Palm Beach Gardens.

It is McIlroy’s first event in 2015 proper on the PGA Tour and in an event he lost out in a three-man play-off a year ago.

Koepka is coming off capturing a maiden PGA Tour title in winning the Phoenix Open while Johnson went within a whisker of capturing last week’s Northern Trust Open in suburban L.A.

And McIlroy has been in the best of form as evident in his ‘comfortable’ success in the recent Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
