Tiger Woods Signs Huge Deal With Hero & Reveals “I’ve Never Ridden A Motor Bike”.

Tiger Woods has ended a four-month injury lay-off to contest Thursday’s starting 18-man Hero World Challenge at the exclusive Isleworth Estate in Orlando.

Woods return, and for only a ninth event this year, also heralded a four-year deal he’s signed to be an ambassador for Hero motor cycles that should be worth a cool fortune to the current World No. 24.

Hero sold some 6.3m motor cycles this past 2013/14 financial year but with Woods smiling in revealing when quizzed by GolfByTourMiss:  “I’ve never ridden a motor cycle before and even with Hero’s valuable sponsorship this year and for the next three years, there’s no way I’m about to start.”

It prompted Woods to be quizzed whether it seemed odd to endorse a product that he’s never used, Woods actually hinted at future endorsement deals:

“No, I don’t think it’s odd at all.  I can’t go into too much detail yet, but pretty soon I’ll be announcing an endorsement deal with a women’s sports bra manufacturer.  Look, I’ve never worn a bra, but I’ve sure taken a few off.  On top of which, I’ve had my fair share of back problems, so I know that without proper support, a person can develop all kinds of aches and pains.  So there’s another situation where I don’t feel weird backing a product that I’ve never really used.”

And while Woods indicated he had shed five pounds over his four month absence one of his biggest concerns was seeking out a VHS video recorder to look at his swing from his amateur days.

“I have a lot of VHS tapes in my library and fortunately my mum is of the age where she still has that equipment so that was very beneficial looking at the old tapes (laughing),” he said.

“But in turning now to Chris Como, and on the recommendation of Sean, it is going to be beneficial because his view of my golf swing is where it should be is aligned to where I also believe it should be.

“Straight away that was good synergy.”
