Rory McIlroy will change his plans in looking for a Florida apartment and instead head north to Ohio to catch up with Danish tennis ace, Caroline Wozniacki.

Wozniacki was expected to visit McIlroy in Atlanta especially after being knocked out in the second round of the Rogers Cup in Toronto.
She is remaining in the States for the up-coming Cincinnati Masters in Ohio and then will contest the New Haven Open in Connecticut, and in the week before the U.S. Open at Flushing Meadow.
It’s meant McIlroy will cancel thoughts of travelling to Florida on Monday as he had been expected to do in looking for an apartment in the West Palm Beach Gardens region that will be his base for a renewed assault next year on the PGA Tour.
McIlroy heads into the final round of the season’s final Major lying in a share of 54th place at seven over par, and 14 shots behind the leading American pair of Brendan Steele and Jason Duffner.
Steele, 28 captured the Valero Texas Open earlier this year, while the 34-year old Duffner is yet to win on the PGA Tour.
However while championship glory awaits, McIlroy will be pleased to post a sub-70 round ahead of a two week break.
“It’s been a frustrating week for me since what happened on the third hole on Thursday, and I just have not really being able to play my best and play the way I want to play,” said McIlroy after his third day 74.
“I felt as if I did okay yesterday to make the cut and it would have been nice to shoot a decent score today and maybe go out with a chance to post a Top‑10 tomorrow.
“But I’ve just got to go out tomorrow and give it my best and then have a couple of weeks off.
“So I just want to get through the last round and hopefully shoot a decent score.
“I haven’t shot under par this week, so it would be nice to shoot something in the 60s, and then I’ve got a couple of weeks off, which I’ll just rest and I probably won’t pick up a golf club.
“So I’ll be able to enjoy it a little bit and then hopefully I’ll be ready to go for Switzerland in a couple of weeks’ time.”
