Kingsbarn bagman Joe Duddy made it two wins from three starts in finishing an impressive five points clear on day three of the 2014 Crail Golfing Society ‘Vilamoura Challenge’.
Despite managing just three hours sleep and looking resplendent in a non-iron shirt and striking shorts Joe managed to compile 33 Stableford points.

Legendary Kingsbarns caddy Joe Duddy makes it two Oceanico polo shirts in three events with his five point Stableford success at the Victoria Course.
It is the second win for Joe after he stormed to first place on the opening day at the Oceanico Old Course.
Joe was seen for a short while after we all returned to the Dom Pedro Golf hotel before spotted getting off the 6th floor at 8.30pm and headed for his room.

Captain John Howorth blasts his way out of the rough at the 3rd hole on the Oceanico Victoria course.
No doubt Joe had the iron out preparing his clothes for day four.
Frank Donnelly helped inspire his team securing 28 points and with his side halving the day three Fourballs to be now trailing 8 – 4 and with two matches remaining.
However with four Fourball points and eight Singles points up for grabs Frank is quietly confident of a come-from-behind Algarve success.
And while many struggled everyone was unanimous in singling out the Oceanico Course for special praise.
The course is host each year to the Portugal Masters and lads from Crail delighting in playing a real championship venue and home to Portugal No. 1 ranked player, Ricardo Santos.
The 2014 Vilamoura Challenge heads to the Vila Sol course tomorrow (Sat).
