Kingsbarns Golf Course to the east of St. Andrews continues to be one of those golfing gems I never grow tied of playing.
I had the occasion to again tackle the course on Thursday, and thanks so much to Alan Hogg, Director of Golf at Kingsbarns.
There was a few drops of rain hanging about when leading European Tour photographer, Stuart Adams plus very good Crail-based friends Rob Redpath and ‘Georgous’ George Morris (related to Old Tom Morris) and myself teed-off just after 3pm.
We walked off some four hours later unanimously singing the praise of the course that each year hosts a round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, and in July will play host to qualifying for the Women’s British Open.
So first and foremost a big thank you from all of us to Alan for the opportunity to again tackle one of the great golf courses on the globe.
While the golf always could have been a little brighter than the weather, the course itself was again in immaculate condition, so congratulations to Alan and everyone at Kingbarns.
