For 18-year-old Chinese golfing sensation Yanhan Zhou it was just his 13th tournament as a full member of the DP World Tour.
He was the early leader on the final day of the Danish Golf Tournament before eventually sharing second place in the event won by local Danish hero Jeff Winther who sensationally eagled his 71st hole in posting a closing 67 and win by three shots at 15-under-par.
Zhou signed for a closing one-over 73 to be amoung five players sharing second on 12-under that included Dane Rasmus Horgjaard and England’s Matthew Jordan.

With his father again acting as caddy, Zhou’s effort is his second place finish and also a fourth top-10 in his dozen plus one DP World Tour events of 2026.
The effort has seen Zhou jump 32 places to No. 62 on the Race to Dubai standings and on track to qualify for end of season top-70 who’ll contest season’s penultimate event at the Abu Dhabi Championship.
Zhou’s effort in Denmark has seen him muscle his was past the likes of top Scot Bob MacIntyre (66th Race to Dubai), Adam Scott (68th), Nicolai Hogjaard (75th), Shane Lowry (77th) and Rasmus Hojgaard (100th) on the standings.
And Zhou’s now top-70 ranking qualifies him for a host of up-coming tournaments and the real likelihood of finding his way not only to Abu Dhabi but making his way up the road to the DP World Tour season-ending DP World Tour Championship starting November 12th in Dubai.
