While double Masters winning Rory McIlroy posted his own horror show of a four-over par effort, including finishing bogey, bogey and double-bogey in a score of 74 to be lying second last, it was not near as bad an effort as top-Scot Bob MacIntyre on day one of the St. Jude FedEx Cup Championship in Memphis, Tennessee.
MacIntyre signed for a shock 12-over par 82 for easily his highest score in 96 PGA Tour sacntioned events dating back to a first at the 2019 Open Championship.
As well, it was the Oban golfers poorest round since his 80 on day three of the 2022 PGA Championship

The Scot’s Memphis round included a seventh hole triple-bogey, three double-bogeys, four bogeys and a lone birdie at the 16th hole birdie.
MacIntyre’s dismal showing has him lying a massive 17 shots adrift of the lead heading into day two of the $20m event at TPC Southwind.
