Arnie’s Event – Best Field All Year Set To Tee-Up At Bay Hill

Arnie would be proud!

In this first decade anniversary of his passing the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational boasts one of the best fields all season teeing-up later next week on the Bay Hill course in suburban Orlando.

Fifteen major champions head the field 65 contesting the $20m event that carries a first prize of a whopping $4m.

This year’s event is the 61st hosting of the tournament that was first played in 1966 and won by American Lionel Herbert, and with Jack Nicklaus among three who were runner

Golf’s newest Grand Slam champ Rory McIlroy, and winner of Arnie’s event by three strokes in 2018, will lead out the strong collection of major championship winners.

Joining McIlroy will be the likes of World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler who won Arnie’s event in 2022 and 2024.

Indeed, golf’s current top-10 will be competing next week and for a second tournament this season after featuring in last fortnight’s Genesis Invitational in California.
