Now ex-LIV golfer Patrick Reed sounded very comfortable with his decision to return to the PGA Tour.
Last week’s Hero Dubai Classic championship winner became the second to shock the golf world in a matter of a few weeks, choosing not to renew his contract with LIV Golf, having joined the breakaway tour back in April, 2022.
And in his first round since the news, Reed sounded positive despite posting a one-under-par 71 that had him lying just inside the top-60, six shots adrift of the lead in the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship.
As well, Reed naturally ditched his LIV 4Aces attire for non-sponsored cap, shirt and golf bag.
Let’s hear what Patrick had to say after his round.
REED SOUNDS COMFORTABLE, DESPITE STRUGGLING IN BAHRAIN ….
Though @PReedGolf sounding very comfortable with the decision he’s made in quitting @livgolf_league & thus return later this year @PGATOUR
Notice Patrick has shed his LIV attire we’ve come to see wearing since… https://t.co/nvFC3ebUJ9
