Impressive Scottish rookie pro Sebastian Sandin has continued his recent super form with a third place in the opening event of the 2025/26 revamped MENA Tour season.
Sandin posted a third and final round 68 for a 13-under-par tally, five shots adrift of runaway winner Italian Addabbo Ludovico in the PGAS Aroeira Challenge near Lisbon in Portugal.
Ludovico was never headed over the three rounds posting a final 63 to win by three at 18-under from local golfer Pedro Figueiredo (67) at 15-under.

Sandin, who secured his Tour card a week ago in finishing second in the Tour’s Q-School, was six-under through 13 holees of his last round but spoiled chances of a possible second straight second playing his closing four holes in two-over.
Nonetheless, the 22-year continues his impressive form having won as an amateur June last year on the Tartan Tour and in turning pro he’s followed the likes of current top-ranked Scot Robert MacIntyre onto the MENA Tour.
The Tour remains in Portugal for next week’s Rolear Algarve Classic ahead of the Festive Season break.
