Looking back on last year’s Saudi success Niemann said:
“I enjoy being in that position, but there’s times sometimes that it takes a little bit longer. It was a good day”, said Niemann, who plays on the LIV Golf League for Torque GC.
“Never thought we were going to be in a play-off with Cam Smith. He was early. An hour before us when he was done. I thought we were going to stay away from the 21-under, but you never know in golf.
Niemann added: “I’m seeing golf developing here in Saudi Arabia thanks to Golf Saudi and it’s great to see them taking the game to the next level here. I’m delighted to be part of that and seeing kids here too watching us play is a good sign for a bright future.”
His 2025 LIV UK win this year was the seventh of his LIV Golf career and a 20th pro win worldwide.
