Tiger Woods has appeared for a first official news conference of 2026 ahead of this week’s Genenis Invitational in suburban Santa Monica.
The 15-time Major Champion is again hosting this week’s event at the Riviera Country Club and for a first occasion on the famed course since the tragic LA forest fires of a year ago saw the PGA Tour event moved south to Torrey Pines.

Sadly, Woods appearance behind the microphone in the Genesis media centre wasn’t to talk about a recent victory or the like but more appropriately a ‘state of the player showing, and as it was early December last year when he hosted the media at the Hero World Challenge.
And among the big questions asked of Tiger as a question where Tiger offered a single word resonse.
