Two Masters champions in Charl Schwartzel and Patrick Reed along with one of the game’s best in four-time major winning Ernie Els head this week’s 115th hosting of the Investic South African Open.
Els is five-time winner of the premier South African event having first won in 1992 and a fifth 18-years later in 2010.
Schwartzel became a third South African in 2011 to be fitted with an Augusta National members jacket though he’s yet to win his ‘home’ Open though finishing joint runner-up in 2005 and second 10-years later.
While Els and Schwartzel are sure to capture plenty of attention the appearance of Reed in the field has generated plenty of interest.
