Could this be a unique golfing first?
A week ago Scotland’s David Drysdale brilliantly savoured success for a first time in some 19-years in capturing the Legends Tour’s Vattanac Legends Championship played on the West Course at the Vattanac course a short distance south of the capital Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
Caddying for the golfer affectionately kown as ‘Double D’ was his wife and also long-time caddy, Vicky.

An overjoyed Vicky has been lovingly at her husband’s side through the best and also toughest of times, and there was naturally no-one more pleased and delighted than Vicky, declaring her happiness by remarking the stunning trophy will take ‘pride of place in our home’.
Remarkably, the Drysdale’s have now been joined by the Fichardt’s with husband Darren, and with his wife and also long-time caddy, Natasha, birdieing three of their closing four holes to capture the VattanacLegends Championship – Legacy Edition.
The South African couple reigned supreme on the adjoining East Course posting scores of 67, 64 and a closing 66 for their 19-under tally.
So impressive was Fichardt’s three days he recorded an eagle, 19 birdies and just two bogeys.
