Grant Forrest bravely held his nerve to birdie the closing two holes and capture a maiden Tour title and become the first Scot in nine years taste success on home soil with victory in the Hero Open near St. Andrews.

Forrest, 28, brilliantly posted a closing round 66 to win by a shot at 24-unde par.
