Dumbarnie Links Bursts Onto Tour Scene In Just 15 Months Since Opening.

Dumbarnie Links, the spectacular and newest Scottish golf course, will play host this August to the Women’s Scottish Open.

The Clive Clark designed course laid out along the Forth of Firth at Lower Largo in Fife was officially opened on May 29th last year and meaning it will be just 15 months to it plays host to one of the major events on the Ladies European Tour scheduled.

Previously known since 2007 and the Ladies Scottish Open the now renamed Women’s Scottish Open will be held from the 12th to 15th August, 2021.

News of this huge step in Dumbarnie’s very young career now places three major Scottish tournament venues within some 20-miles of St. Andrews with Kingsbarns Links a host to the annual Alfred Dunhill Links and also host to the 2017 Women’s British Open while The Fairmont Resort, and just to the east of St. Andrews, hosted last year’s inaugural Scottish Championship on the European Tour.
