Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose are the bookmakers favourite to be the joint leading point scores for Europe this week’s Ryder Cup.
The Irish-based Paddy Power and the UK’s leading bookmaker, Ladbrokes have the European pair at 9/2 to secure the most points for Europe at Golf Le National.
To win the 45th staging of the Ryder Cup, Paddy Power has Europe at 5/4 to win back the gleaming trophy and the visiting USA team 10/11 to retain the Ryder Cup, and with odds of 11/1 for a 14-points all tie.
The best odds, however, is in picking Europe to defeat the USA side by 18.5 points to 9.5 with Paddy Power offering odds of 60/1.
And if you are looking for a best ‘outsider’ on both sides then Europe’s Thorbjorn Olesen is at 25/1 while on the American side the Masters winning duo of Bubba Watson and Phil Mickelson are also at 25/1.
