McIlroy Reveals Driving His First Car Into The Doors Of A Golf Club.

Four-time Major winning Rory McIlroy revealed how he drove a first car he owned in the doors of a golf club and very soon after passing his driving test.

And McIlroy was not alone as Paris Hilton, and his rival on the TC series ‘The Grand Tour’, spilt the beans with the now 36-year old revealing she once ‘bent’ her grand-father’s Rolls Royce modelled golf buggy.

“I had a BMW 1 Series as my first car…I’d just passed my test…It didn’t go so well,” McIlroy said on the espisode to screen Friday in the UK.

“I nearly actually went through the front door of the golf club.

“Hit a big, high kerb, bent the steering axle and I literally had to drive it like this to keep it straight for the five miles I went home!”

Hilton’s grandfathe actually owned two golf buggies – a Rolls Royce version and one modelled on a Bentley and one day Hilton and her sister decided that would have a race to see which buggy was the fastest.

“My sister and I were going around the pond and of course we were going so fast that I smashed the Rolls into this huge rock. We just totalled!,” said Hilton.

“We were so scared we just ran away and then later, my grandad’s like ‘where’s my Rolls? I want to go golfing right now.”
