Tiger Woods Rids Himself Of Club Found In Albany Shed.

Riviera Country Club, Los Angeles ..

Tiger Woods returns to competition this week at Torrey Pines with all but one club he competed with at last month’s Hero World Challenge.

In teeing up in the Bahamas Woods, and for a first time in his now 21-year pro predominately Nike equipment career, was sporting a new TaylorMade M2 driver.

He had his Nike irons, including three Nike wedges with ‘TW’ clearly stamped on the rear face of the club.

But for a first time in his career he was using a Bridgestone ball, and in fact, the Bridgestone Tour B330S golf ball.

And while he spoke of being happy with his clubs post his appearance in the Bahamas he revealed he had packed a 3-wood into this bag and a club he said he’d found in a shed on the Albany course.

So when asked today, and some six weeks since competing in the Bahamas, if he had changed any clubs in his bag heading into this week’s Farmers Insurane Open, guess what club is no longer in his Monster Energy sponsored bag?

“Ahh, lets see.  I changed one club,” he said.

What club was that?

“Just my 3-wood,” he said.

Do you still have that club in your bag you said you found in a shed out in the Bahamas.

“That’s the one I have replaced (smiling).”
