Scotland is sadly without representation on stage this week for the Race to Dubai season-ending final.
It will be the first time since the inaugural 2009 DP World Tour Championship the Saltire will not be flying high over the host Earth Course at Jumeriah Estates.
Top Scot Russell Knox has elected not to compete while the trio of Richie Ramsay, Marc Warren and David Drysdale blew their hopes with poor showings in the Nedbank Challenge and the penultimate event of the Final Series.
Ramsay went to South Africa lying 69th on the R2D but his final round 72 for a two-over par tally and a share of 25th place saw the Edinburgh player move up just one place to 68th and six places shy of the top-16 Dubai qualifers.
Warren teed-up in Sun City lying 65th on the R2D but averaged 75.5 over the four days, including a horror last day 79, to fall seven spots and end his 11th full season 72nd on the money list.
In fact, Warren managed just six birdies over the four rounds.
And David Dysdale ended his 15th season on Tour signing for a 69 for an eventual eight over par total and a share of 49th place.
It handed Drysdale 79th on the Race to Dubai but his best result in four years.
