American Matt Kuchar delivered the USA Olympic Team a bronze medal courtesy of a final round of a course record equalling 63 to take third place in the Olympic Games Men’s Golf competition.

Kuchar seized a 10th hole eagle along with six birdies to storm his way to 14-under par and four ahead of his nearest rival.

“I can assure you I’ve never been so excited to finish in the top three in my life,” said Kuchar.

“I can’t explain to you the pride I feel just burning out of my chest. It’s something I haven’t felt before.”
