REID’S RAIDERS DRAW LEVEL IN 2015 LISBON CHALLENGE
Reid’s Raiders have managed to claw their back to draw level with Rodger’s Dodgers at six points in the 2015 Lisbon Challenge.
Rodger’s Dodgers went into day at Penha Longa leading the five-match series 5 points to 3 points.

Alan Reid is king of the castle after his ‘Reid Raider’s’ side drew level 6 points apiece at Penha Longa on day three of the 2015 Lisbon Challenge
However in walking off the superb former Portugal Open venue (1994-95 & 2010), Alan Reid’s side had bridged the gap to be all square with two rounds to play.

The boys warm-up for day three on the Penha Longa practice putting green with the 1st hole to the left and the 18th on the right.
The opening encounter – Alastair McMeekin/Joe Duddy against Alan and Danny McMullen – was halved while Craig Bayne and Rodger Watson accounted for the Rodger’s Dodgers duo of Richard Guthrie and Fraser Ireland 2up.

The opening match on the first tee at Penha Longa on day three of the 2015 -Lisbon Challenge – Danny, Allan, Joe and Alastair
But then the Reid’s Raiders duo of Eamon Scanlon and George Morris were behind early in their match against John Howorth and Frank Donnelly but got back to all square at the turn.
Eamon and George lost the 10th but won 11 and 12 and were 1 up with a hole to play but with George missing a 10-footer on the final green that would have handed he and Eamon success.
The half put Reid’s Raiders just a point behind Rodger’s Dodgers.
However Andy Braid and Dave Patterson teamed well in the last match to easily account for Peter Rodger and Bernie McGuire winning 4 & 3.
Andy set the tone rolling in a 30-foot birdie putt the first that seemed like it came from the Algarve and while it was all square it was all over for the duo of Peter and Bernie at the par three 15th.
So the scene is set now for a thrilling final two days in the 2015 Lisbon Challenge.

Six on the tee for the last match of the day at Penha Longa including a Parrot and a North Sydney Bears head cover.
