After a day’s rest the 2015 Bushnell/Odyssey Lisbon Challenge now enters the tense stages with two rounds to play here in Portugal.

Three rounds of the five rounds have been contested and with both Rodger’s Dodgers and Reid’s Raiders locked at six points apiece.

Bushnell’s newest laser rangefinder – the Tour X JOLT & with Bushnell gratefully sponsoring this year’s 2015 Lisbon Challenge.

The final two matches to decide our 2015 champions will be played over the Oitavos Dunes course and on Saturday we wrap up with the Singles at Quinta da Marinha.

However for half of those present here in Lisbon this week we elected rather than spend time lazing around the hotel to arrange to play a social round of golf.

We chose the wonderful Pestana Beloura course where we were warmly greeted by Vitor Paixao, Golf Manager ahead of playing a full round on an easy-walking old style golf course.

The course offers a wonderful challenge and on this Spring day there was not the added pressure of striving to win points for your respective team.

But then Rodger Watson, and our Stableford points leader by five shots, found himself in a spot of bother down the left side of the 9th hole was the photo below shows.

It was a superb day’s golf and on a golf course I can highly recommend to include on your next Lisbon bound golfing holiday.
