Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker have laid odds on who will be Rory McIlroy’s next girlfriend after he recently called off his engagement to tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki.

The bookies have placed their best bet at McIlroy’s former lover Holly Sweeney with 3/1 to fill in as his next girl.

Bizarrely, Elin Nordegren and the former wife to Tiger Woods, is a 275/1 odds bet.

The 25-year-old McIlroy ended his relationship with the Danish-born tennis ace only days after they had already sent out the invitations, saying that he got the nervous as the reality of marriage hit him.

Though the bookies will offer prices on request to punters, they have identified 26 candidates overall.
