‘Run Milkha Run’ – the life story of famed India-born runner UMilka Singh and father to champion India golfer Jeev Milkha Singh – has captured a number of major India film awards overnight.
Jeev Milkha Singh, who is competing in this week’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, alerted www.golfbytourmiss.com to the awards today (Wed) as he practiced on the National Course range.
The movie captured a number of top awards at the Life OK Screen Awards 2014 headed by the Best Actor award going to Farhan Akhtar for his true-to-life portrayal as athlete Milkha Singh in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (English translation – Run Milkha Run.)
Best Film also went to Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
