Where would you for a fantastic meal in Shanghai and the financial capital of China?
A Japanese restaurant, of course!
Seriously, it was BMW’s Nicole Stempinski and her colleagues who invited a select group of the international media reporting on this week’s BMW Masters to one of the best restaurants in Shanghai.
We were shown to a private dining room at the Kogen Restaurant where our chef ‘Jimmy’ dazzled us with his culinary skills.
It was a wonderful night – great location, wonderful food and superb company.
So many thanks to Jorg ‘Kotte’ Kottmeier, Nicole and Matt
Nicole, Mathias and Gotte for their generous invitation.
I hope you enjoy looking at the photographs below as much as we enjoyed the occasion.
- Jimmy hard at work preparing the food
- Eoin Clarke enjoying the ocassion
- Dinner is being prepared in our intimate room at the Kogen Restaurant
- Jimmy offering a portion of cooked meat
- Nicole throws her hands up declaring: I wish we had some haggis!”
- Where there’s fire, there is also good food
- A flaming end to the meal – cooked bananas with ice cream.
