A report in the Irish Times says Graeme McDowell’s Boyport Services Ltd show the firm enjoyed its most successful year to date in 2012 after recording profits of $US 4.207m (£2.643m/€3.1m).
The records lodged with Companies House in the UK show that accumulated profits increased from £3.539 million to £6.182 million in the 12 months to the end of December last.
The profit increase in 2012 followed a £2 million increase in profits to £3.5 million in the previous year.
Cash balances grew from £1.579 million to £3.79 million in 2012.
But while McDowell’s off course business affairs, including his Nona Blue bistro in Orlando flourishes, his Dublin-based Horizon Sports agency is currently involved in a public spat with Mr McDowell’s friend Rory McIlroy, who has exited his management relationship.
