Rory McIlroy Blows Out To 7/1 For Masters Victory

UK bookmakers, William Hill has eased struggling World No. 1 Rory McIlroy from 5/1 to 7/1 to win the Masters while the double Major winner is also 3/1 to fail to make the Augusta National halfway cut.

In four Masters appearances McIlroy has only missed the cut once and that was in 2010 with scores of 74 and 77.

In prior starts at Augusta he was T40th last year, T15th after his Masters meltdown in 2011 and placed T20th on debut in 2009

And William Hill have also reacted to McIlroy’s indifferent start to 2013 with McIlroy 1/2 not to win a Major in 2013 but 6/4 to win at least one.

“Hopefully Mcllroy can find a good dentist and get down to the practice ground,” said William Hill’s Rupert Adams.

“He is the World number one and although the Masters might be too soon, we are not writing him off for the rest of the year.”

And for those others competing in the Masters:-  5/1 Tiger Woods, 7/1 Rory Mcllroy, 8/1 Phil Mickelson, 14/1 Brandt Snedeker, 16/1 Lee Westwood, 16/1 Luke Donald, 22/1 Charl Schwartzel, 25/1 Dustin Johnson, 25/1 Louis Oosthuizen, 28/1 Adams Scott.
