The leading eight players on the 2012 USA Ryder Cup team have been confirmed but with four former players, Hunter Mahan, Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk and Rickie Fowler now having to rely on a ‘wildcard’ pick.

In fact, the conclusion to the PGA Championship has not seen a change in the USA Ryder Cup standings.

USA Captain, Davis Love 111 will hold a press conference in Charleston on Monday morning to discuss the final eight before announcing on September 4th in New York his four picks.

The eight to qualify automatically for the September 28th commencing Ryder Cup include:-

3. Jason Duffner

4. Keegan Bradley

5. Webb Simpson

6. Zach Johnson

7. Matt Kuchar

8.  Phil Mickelson
