It took just three days for the first official hole-in-one on the new Trump International Scotland course.

Neale Stewart congratulated by Donald Trump.

Course owner, Donald Trump was on hand to congratulate Neale Stewart who aced the par three, 16th at the course that was officially opened on Tuesday.

The 47-year old Aberdeen-born Stewart plays off a handicap of 7 at Royal Aberdeen and hit an 8-iron at the 157-yard hole for his first-ever hole-in-one.

“It was my first hole-in-one and a sweet shot which landed just short of the hole and rolled in a nice speed,” he said.

“Mr Trump congratulated me but he was winding me up about having to buy drinks.

“I ended up buying about 60 drinks at the clubhouse but I think I got off lightly because a lot of people were driving.”

Stewart was out playing the course in a Aberdeen Grampian Chamber of Commerce golf outing.
