Ian Poulter Launches Stinging Attack On Bruce Critchley’s ‘Negative’ Remarks.

England’s Ian Poulter delivered SKY’s Bruce Critchley a stinging attack after his negative on-air remarks following Poulter’s shock first round exit from the WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship.

Poulter captured the Arizona event two years ago and he heads into May’s Volvo World Match-Play  title in Spain as defending champion.

But it came as a big surprise when he was soundly bundled out 4&3 by Korean Sae Bang-moon on day one around the Dove Mountain course.

And after learning of Critchley’s ‘negative’ comments Poulter needed little encourgament to deliver Critchley a right royal tongue lashing.

“I would love some of our commentators to do a day in my shoes with family, gym and practice sessions,” Poulter said on Twitter.

“They haven’t got a F&@ “£% clue how hard we work. They sit on there ass talking crap. That’s really difficult.

“Well Bruce Chritchley talks complete ****** most of the time anyway. Sorry SKY Sports viewers for having to listen to his crap every week.”

And while Poulter singled out Critchley for condemnation he also was not that complimentary of his own game where he was never ahead and eventually lost the match with Sang-moon closing out the match by winning four of five holes from the 11th.

“That was simply rubbish, five bogeys, I beat myself. I wouldn’t have given many a good game,” said Poulter.

“It’s a shame. I love Match play.If I’m ever happy in defeat that day will be the last day I ever hit a golf ball.

“I will retire. I hate losing and hopefully always hate it.

“I am a bad loser. I’ve never known a good one.”
