Rory’s New Danish-born Hearthrob Coming To Atlanta.

Rory McIlroy’s new heart throb, Caroline Wozniacki will be in Atlanta this week to cheer on the reigning U.S. Open champion.

McIlroy escaped the sauna-like Atlanta weather to catch TV  coverage in the Atlanta Athletic clubhouse of Wozniaki’s second round Rogers Cup match in Toronto, Canada.

McIlroy kicked back in the air conditioned comfort of the clubhouse to silently cheer on his new Danish flame in her encounter against Italy’s Roberta Vinci.

Atlanta today (WED) experienced its 56th straight day in the 90s’.

However McIlroy had to cut short watching the match as he’d agreed to meet Graeme McDowell for a 3pm practice round over the front nine.

At the time, Wozniacki, the tournament’s No. 1 ranked seed, had lost the first set 6/4.

McIlroy headed off down the first fairway keeping track of the match on his mobile.

But then fellow U.S. Open winner McDowell began teasing his fellow U.S. Open champ saying:  “Love 15, Love 30 and Love 40.”

But by the time McIlroy got to the second hole, his new Danish flame had lost the match 6/4, 7/5 to the Italian.

And McIlroy’s father, Gerry then revealed she would be travelling to Atlanta to support McIlroy.
