There were heated words on the Wentworth practice range this morning ahead of the final round of the BMW PGA Championship.

Alvaro Quiros and John McClarin (back turned) involved in heated discussion on Wentworth practice range.
Spain’s Alvaro Quiros and John McClarin, the caddy to England’s Luke Donald, were observed in a discussion that looked far from acrimonious.
Donald and Quiros played the third round in each other’s company and it’s apparent from what took place on the range this morning (Sunday) that McClarin was not happy with the Spaniard’s on-course etiquette.
There was plenty of ‘colourful’ words between the pair could be clearly heard by spectators at the back of the range, and with most surprised to hear what was taking place.
Surprisingly, Gareth Lord, who caddies for Quiros, stood there without saying anything when you would seem the last thing a player needed before teeing off in a final round of any event, was to be involved in an argument.
Quiros clearly looked upset by the approach that many deemed totally out of order ahead of such an important last day at Wentworth.
Both Quiros and Donald were approached about the matter after the close of play but each dismissed talking about the issue.
