Tiger Woods – A Very Happy 37th Birthday.

Tiger Woods today celebrates his 37th birthday.

Woods was born on December 30th, 1975 and no doubt he will be spend the day either with his two children or with his mother.

However the best birthday present Woods could receive was knowing that he heads into 2013 edging closer to breaking the ecord of 18 Majors set by Jack Nicklaus.

Nicklaus was 22 years old when he captured a first Major in winning the 1962 US Open and was then aged 46 years when he stormed from four shots behind to overhaul Tom Kite and Greg Norman to win an 18th with a final day 65 for success in the 1986 Masters.

Woods has not won a Major Championship in over four years since winning the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines.

However given Nicklaus was four years short of age 50 in winning his 18th Major it means Woods has nine years to win the four Majors to go past the Golden Bear to become the leading Major winner in the history of golf.

Tiger’s recent comments on his webpage – www.tigerwoods.com– ended with the following remarks: “I’m excited about the holidays and so are my kids. The best present I ever received was space Legos.

I’m also excited about Stanford playing Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. I’m planning on seeing the Cardinal beat the Badgers. It’s going to be another great game. You’ve got two big-time running teams playing against each other. There are going to be a lot of sore bodies by the end of the night.

That’s it for now. Happy holidays and thanks for your continued support.”

However from www.golfbytourmiss.com we wish Tiger a happy birthday and look forward to catching up with him at next month’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
