Sadness For Tiger – Losing His Dear Mother

Tiger Woods sadly has announced his dear mother Kultida Woods has passed away.

Woods shared heartbreaking personal news on Tuesday morning via his ‘X’ social media account.

The 15-time major champion revealed that his mother passed away early this morning (February 4th).

The news comes with somewhat of a shock at Kultida was present last fortnight for her son’s appearance in the latest TGL Golf series of matches and with Woods actually singling out his mother in the crowd.

Woods has been playing golf pretty much since he started walking ahead of turning pro in 1992 at age 16.

And it’s been the support of his parents, Earl, who passed away in 2006 and Kultida who have stood by their only child all this time, and in all this time Woods has not been slow in singling out both his father and mother.

“My dad was always the person who would plant seeds and give me encouragement but also would say things that would fester inside me that wouldn’t come to fruition for a while,” Woods told USA Today in 2023.

“He was very worldly and deep in his thinking. My mom was the enforcer. My dad may have been in the Special Forces, but I was never afraid of him. She’s a very tough, tough old lady, very demanding. She was the hand, she was the one, I love her so much, but she was tough.”

Of course, it is far too early for news of funeral arrangements but you can be assured if it is a public funeral there will be thousands in attendance paying their respects to Kultida.

Whatever, it is sad news for Tiger and his two children Sam and Charlie.

RIP Kultida
