Masters champion Patrick Reed declared ‘millions more eyeballs will be focussed on LIV Golf’ with confirmation all LIV Golf matches will be now broadcast live on the FOX Sports TV.
News of FOX’s involvement in LIV Golf has been known for some time but it was only this week news was officially confirmed the giant American TV network will be covering this now third year of LIV Golf.
“It’s an amazing move and a huge step up for LIV Golf having a network like FOX on board”, said Reed after signing for three-under-par 69 to move into the then top-20 on day two of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

“What we are doing and the product we are promoting is a good thing, a positive thing for the men’s pro game.
“Having FOX on board means millions more eyeballs focussing on LIV Golf and, let’s honest as anytime you get more eyeballs on golf the better is for the game we all love.
“So, everyone at LIV is really excited”.
The move to get FOX Sports in golf has come as a much-needed boost to the ancient club-and-ball game as fans the world over turn away from watching coverage of both the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour.
This ever-decreasing audience has been widely reported however the fact LIV Golf will now have a TV audience, at least for the time being, in the States will really bring a whole new audience to golf.
“I know for a fact LIV and FOX are working on spreading coverage of our product outside of the States”, Reed added.
“There is definitely one thing about LIV Golf and that is, it’s global. We go everywhere. So, it’s going to be great for men’s pro golf, it’s going to be great for LIV and great for the LIV players”.
Reed capped his second round with four birdies in a first of hopefully four events in a row he will commence season 2025 on the DP World Tour.
And while he is confirmed for next fortnight’s Bahrain Championship and the following week’s Qatar Masters, the Texan is not yet confirmed for next week’s Ras Al Khaimah Championship just some 75-minutes drive north of the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai.
