It’s official with ‘Fooch’ bag on the bag of England’s Justin Rose.

We saw Mark Fulcher behind the ropes at last fortnight’s WGC – Dell Technologies Match-Play in Austin but now the duo are back inside the ropes as a team for this week’s Masters.

It will be Rose’s 14th bid for Masters glory and ‘Fooch’s’ return could not be more timely.

It has been three months since the former caddy to Dame Laura Davies was forced to give-up caddying for the 2016 Olympic Gold Medal winner due to undergoing heart surgery in January.

“I feel like we’ve learned together so much here, I wouldn’t expect a nugget of information I don’t know to come out during practice,” Rose said after a practice round.

He added that Fulcher’s presence would be especially valuable in the later rounds of the tournament, when emotions run high.

“It’s when the going gets tough,” Rose said. “We have so many positive experiences out there under pressure that we can draw on together.”
