DANNY WILLETT – WITH HIS 2019 DP WORLD TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS

• 
His sixth European Tour victory in his 251st appearance and his first since the 2016 Masters Tournament and a victory absence of 953-days.

 His first Rolex Series victory and the sixth by an Englishman following Tommy Fleetwood (2017 HNA Open de France), Tyrrell Hatton (2017 Italian Open), Justin Rose (2017 Turkish Airlines Open and 2018 Turkish Airlines Open) and Lee Westwood (2018 Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player).

 His first victory in his seventh appearance at the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai. His best previous finish was fourth place in 2015.

 The third English winner of this event following Westwood in 2009 and Matthew Fitzpatrick in 2016.

• Moves to 2,113,674 points on the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex and ends the season in 20th place, up from 53rd.

 Could move back inside the top 100 in the Official World Golf Ranking and as high as 87th, up from 276th.

 His best previous Rolex Series finish was tied sixth in the 2018 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open hosted by the Rory Foundation.

 His second victory in Dubai following the Dubai Desert Classic in 2016.

 The 14th win from an Englishman on the 2018 Race to Dubai and the 333rd  victory from an Englishman on the European Tour.
