Golf World Welcomes Woods Given Green Light To Return To Competition.

News the golf world has been waiting for with confirmation Tiger Woods has been cleared to return to golf just six months after undergoing fusion surgery on his lower back.

Woods long-time agent Mark Steinberg indicaed the doctor who operated on Woods back in April has cleared him to return to the game with no restrictions.

“He got a nice report and is allowed to proceed,” said Steinberg.

Mark Steinberg reveals Tiger Woods has been given the green light by doctors to return to competition.

“He can do as much as he needs to do. Tiger is going to take this very, very slowly. This is good, but he plans to do it the right way.”

Earlier this year Steinberg had slammed suggestions the 14-time Major winner would never be fit enough to return to the competition fairways.

So much so, it was in August that Woods got the go-ahead from his doctor to start pitching, and he has now progressed to full swings as we have seen in recent videos posted by Woods.

Steinberg said there is no time table as for when Woods will return to competition, and the 14-time major champion plans to take it day-by-day.
