Double Major winning John Daly showed off his footballing skills on the eve of the 2016 Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am on the tropical island of Hainan in China.

‘JD’, as his more affectionately known, is competing in the event for a first occasion.

The biennial tournament, being played from October 22-23, sees stars from sport and entertainment paired with golfing greats for a weekend of golf and glamour at the Mission Hills Haikou resort on the tropical island of Hainan in China.

Now in its fourth edition, the biennial Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am was established in 2008 as Asia’s first and only pro-celebrity golf event.

This sporting and entertainment extravaganza – which reaches more than 26 television channels in Greater China and over 200 countries worldwide – aims to help grow the game of golf in China, whilst also raising funds for local causes and promoting Hainan Island as a tourist destination.
