Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club is paying a fitting tribute on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme that began in 1916.

The club located on the Moray Firth, and boasting a history of golf dating back to 1793, has commissioned a special 16th hole flag that will stay in place for the remainder of 2016.

Congratulations to Fortrose and Rosemarkie Golf Club Secretary, Mike MacDonald and the club on a stirring mark of respect.
