Julien Clement Avalanche Of Birdies In Historic First Alps Tour 59.

Swiss golfer Julien Clément, former European Tour player, wrote his name into Alps Tour history signing for a first ever 59 during second round of Vigevano Open.

Clement, who turns 35 later next week, posted an 11-under par tally on the par 70 layout to share the lead at 13-under par with Matt Wallace of England who recorded 62.

Should Wallace win, he would also create Alps Tour history in being the first player to record four wins during the same season, and it would remarkably be four wins back to back.
