Rory McIlroy Inc has a most unlikely management colleague in ‘Modest Golf Management’ and co-owned by One Direction’s Niall Horan.

With One Direction taking a break from performing Horan has teamed with Mark McDonnell, a former TaylorMade account manager, to get involved in golf.

‘Modest’ is the same company managing the affairs of One Direction.

McIlroy had Horan on the bag for last year’s Par 3 Challenge at Augusta National while the pair were grouped together for last year’s FedEx Cup Play-Off BMW Championship Celebrity Pro-Am in Chicago.

And as one colleague wrote:  “If his career as golf agent is anywhere near his success in the music industry, then this Irishman will be just fine. As Jerry Maguire once said, “SHOW ME THE MONEY!”
