Halted At A Texas Red Light By A Truckload Of Australia’s Finest.

Here we were on the Monday after Jimmy Walker captured the Valero Texas Open and happily driving down Texas route 290 on route from Austin to Houston when I was brought to a screeching halt at a red light by a truck load of Australia’s finest.

We had traveled north from San Antonio to visit Austin and the capital of Texas before pointing the rent-a-car east, so I am not sure where this photograph was taken.

All I know is that I could have got out of the car and got down on my knees bowing to what was like a mirage as this wonderful truck made its way onto the main road.

The only problem the truckload of Foster’s was heading west and we were making our way east and this week’s Shell Houston Open.

So after quickly frothing at the mouth at thoughts of the possibility of an ice cold can of the amber nectar it was back to the real world and pushing on to Houston.

A sight for this Aussies sore eyes - a complete truckload of the amber nectar in the Lone Star State of Texas.
