Marc Warren Boosts Augusta Goal Qualifying For WGC – Cadillac C’ship.

Marc Warren has boosted hopes of qualifying for a first Masters appearance by qualifying for next week’s WGC – Cadillac Championship on the Blue Monster course at Trump Doral in suburban Miami.

Warren will now join fellow Scot Stephen Gallacher in the first major showdown this season after being among the top-10 currently on the 2015 Race To Dubai money list.  (See qualifying condition below)

It will be Warren’s first appearance in the event and only his second WGC showing after finishing T35th in last November’s WGC – HSBC Champions event in Shanghai.

With the 70 players in the $US 9.5m event assured of playing all four rounds it offers Warren a great springboard to move from his current No. 53 World Ranking and into the top-50.

And then Warren only needs to remain inside the 50 by the last week in March to be joining Gallacher, Sandy Lyle and British Amateur champion Bradley Neil in the year’s first Major.
