Among those affected were the Scottish pair of Stephen Gallacher and Russell Knox along with Ireland’s Padraig Harrington, who heads the field by a shot on seven under par.

The poor weather was also lashing the Miami region around an hour’s drive to the south and venue for this week’s $US 9.25m WGC – Cadillac Championship, and an event Marc Warren will make his debut.
Warren earned a place being inside the top-10 on the current Race to Dubai money list and with the current World No. 53 looking to break inside the top-50 at Doral and the assurance of a place in this year’s Masters field.
